Discussion/Build of EV-1 Style Wheel Covers

So, instead of hijacking Sean T's thread, I'll try and pull cfg83 and other builders over here.

It was mentioned after viewing of Sean T.'s pictures ( http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...tml#post163377 ) that someone should make EV-1 style wheel covers.

I would love to have covers with more pizazz than the stock ones on the Crawler, and this idea/design appealed to me as well.

Looks like this place has the ORIGINAL ones for sale, listed as Saturn:

originalwheels.com/saturn-wheels/ev11999rims.php

Picture is relatively decent. Does anyone have a better picture of the rims themselves?

Does anyone know where to get "solid" plastic wheel covers, that could be 'carved' to match? I'm thinking the best bet would be to get plastic ones as close to solid as possible, fill the leftover holes with body filler (or something similar), and then cut/paint. Would that hold up?
