I agree with the others 3500rpm seems like a high shift point. With my auto I get it to shift around 2000-2500rpm and wish I could go lower.

I have noticed an interesting thing with my car, if I let it run 30-60 secs before taking off, it seems I get better averages. I suspect it has something to do with the emission programming on my car though, such as it will not shift into over drive or lockup till engine temp is 130F and 140F for lockup.
