In other words, if they don't buy into your hysterical "Omigawd, it's radioactive! We're all gonna DIE!!!" conspiracies, they're automatically lying? Catch-22, I think.

Suppose we try an alternative hypothesis: that in fact it's the various anti-nuclear groups who are lying, either because they have political agendas, they're ignorant of science and so have innocently bought into the hysteria themselves, or - dare I say it? - because they don't have what it takes to do something productive, and have chosen this way to bolster their egos.

Now suppose we try to collect actual data to support or refute the hypothesis. We might, for instance, compare their post-Chernobyl distaster predictions with the reality of a nature preserve that is, by most measures, one of the ecologically healthiest places in Europe.
