Getting new wheels/tires

Well my current set of tires are total junk. They are Douglas GT-H's, you can find them at your local wal mart. They are not suited for my car at all. Plus, I am tired with my wheels. So I'm upgrading to 17"s, I know, totally counter intuitive. The old tires are leaking air out and I have to fill them every week, that might be why I'm only getting 25 mpg highway even though I am driving normally.

The new wheels and tires look like these

I have a sedan. I'm going to have to lower my car so it doesn't look stupid as well. Tire size is 225/45/R17. Max pressure on the tires I am getting is like 50 psi.. sweet
