They gave ~175lbs as the weight of the engine, but I'd hope that's for the whole pod as the Insight's 3 cylinder only weighs 125lbs crated (one person who ships them claimed it was actually only 95 dry, on Insight Central) and the 5MT with it weighs 56lbs.
Really neat car though. It's unfortunate that GM probably crushed it.

I believe that there are 5-Ultralite clones at the Burbank,California movie studio who produced "Demolition Man." They were constructed under GM supervision for the movie,although I don't believe that they're integrated chassis is reproduced.
Back-Lot passes are available with which to see the cars.I've already checked.
I would petition the resident studio miscreants to abscond with one of them and trailer it over the hill to El Mirage for a run on the dry lake.Video of course!
