Hello EcoModders!

Hello from Michigan!
I recently purchased a 2001 VW Jetta TDI and have loved the 50+ mpg I have been getting. I have a 50 mile commute to work each way so this has been nice. I am interested in making mods to increase my economy even more. Some things I am planning on doing in the next couple weeks are adding some aero to the front and underside of my Jetta and possibly doing a passenger mirror delete. Being from Michigan I just put new snow tires on it so I expect that my mpgs will drop (havent had to fill up yet) they are noticably louder than the balled all seasons that were on it when I bought it. I'm also thinking of making a bigger intake and exhaust for it as I've read that diesels love to run without any restrictions. I am toying around with the idea of putting a 3 inch straigt pipe from my turbo, out my front fender. Not really sure how that will help but its basically just a down pipe right now due to a sizable rust hole.
Anyways, I hope to find some good information on here!
Cheers.
