Dunno what happened, when I was looking at it, it definitely showed a listing for a 165R14. My understanding is that when the ratio isn't called out specifically as something else, aspect ratio is assumed to be Standard Ratio, 82%

Eighty-two percent is standard? That's weird, but whatever. So long as someone has a standard, I'll go with that.

That Firestone is available even narrower as a 155R14 (I promise it's listed, I'm looking right at it), which would have almost exactly the same diameter as your factory tires. But as you say, it's not cheap for a tire you're only going to use for a summer, especially on the griddle-like blacktop where you are.
