And why would China be needing more water, I wonder? Could it be that the Himalayan glaciers are melting more quickly now, and the six major rivers they feed are in question? Or, maybe it is shifting weather patterns, because of the weakened and wobbly polar vortex, due to melting Arctic ice? Or, it might be that the 4-5% increase of evaporation, due to warmer temperatures are sapping water supplies? Or possibly it is because rain storms are too intense for the water to be absorbed, if the rain had been spread out over a period of time?

Or maybe scientists are just making it all up - yeah, THAT'S it!
