Ramps parked in the "up" position are a pet peeve of mine, especially when the trailer is empty. I see it so often I have to wonder if it's impossible to put 'em down on the bed especially when the trailer is empty? But then I remember the rows upon rows of new ones with their ramps down flush. I get the urge to run up to
Homo rampus erectus and slap some sense into 'em.
The second thing regarding ramps is there is no effort made to clamp/damp their mounting such that the whole pile of rolling isht doesn't rattle clash and clang over every expansion joint and pothole. A little piece of rubber here, and a wedge or clamp there, and it would all go away. But why not sound like a POS whenever the opportunity presents itself?
