With a pointless carbon tax millions more would be going to bed hungry and cold.
About half of people in the US live paycheck to paycheck in the US. Even if these people own their own home they aren't going to shell out money they don't have to put in energy efficient windows or upgrade working appliances with ones that use less power.
Where is the incentive for people who rent to get energy efficient appliances?
Plus if these people are further carbon taxed to the brink how are they going to afford all the more efficient stuff like rewiring their house if they own one for a 240v circuit for a car charger?
The current nuclear situation we can thank Obama for. He quietly restarted the US nuclear fuel recycling program back around 2014 and the government was recycling fuel again sometime in 2015 or 2016. Turns out he wasn't as dumb as he looks. Strangle not a peep from the media on this. Just imagine if trump pushed for the nuclear fuel recycling restart. The media would have a field day.
