Your calculation is correct. I can provide real life fact also. My 28kW motor is able to get my 1200Kg Mazda MX3 to 180km/h speed.
That can be because the motor rating is actually continuous 1h rating. Motor can drain 80kW if i push it hard. I am not sure how much of that goes to the wheels, but it is enough my car is quite nimble.
Highway hill climb requires some 35kW to 45kW power at 110km/h.... depends on the grade.
