Almost $2 trillion is the estimate in 5 categories only, to alleviate, even the start of AGW effects around the planet. This is only the first estimate in limited areas, & can easily be seen to increase by multiples, as the future becomes the present & AGW effects become really complex. And again, this is only the beginning.

$400 milion has already been spent by Miami, & that was only to get salt water in the city back into the seas. With only the beginning of explorations of protections from rising seas, $120 billion is estimated for New Jersey & New York river gates, probably not including full protections around Long Island.
