Thanks! I don't think I'll be coming that close to 50 MPG on a regular basis, but on this particular route (which I drive once or twice a week typically) I can hopefully memorize the hill patterns a bit more and optimize things further. With a little luck regarding traffic and lights, I bet I can beat 50 MPG.
I just ordered a BT OBDII dongle and I'm looking forward to seeing if I can tweak my BSFC technique based on engine load. Fingers crossed that the dongle + app can provide adequate/accurate/timely load information.
