Well, since Japan allows registration of LHD vehicles and some customers actually prefer them on imported luxury cars as a matter of "distinction", I guess switching to Euro standards won't be so much of an issue.

Collectors may want some of the JDM cool stuff, plus some British expatriates who prefer to drive RHD even in mainland Europe. AFAIK some outlets sell RHD cars in Spain on a regular basis.
