Go for it, freebeard. I think the tech is impressive, too. Got any current photos of the car with its dents? This thread loves dents almost as much as stressed paint.

On another note ... I'm not saying I would do this exactly, but here was some interesting use of the divinely patented "longterm passive solar paint prep" process for an inimitable look. No kid with beer cans and piss could ever reporduce a patina panel with as much depth and character in its rot.

I like the contrast between highly stressed and perfectly new.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
