side-by-side BEV vs ICE Volvo comparison

The June, 2021 issue of Motor Trend offered this, along with some other, BEV comparisons.
The 2021 Volvo XC40 P8 AWD Recharge ( R-Design ) was compared to it's ICE stablemate, the XC40 T5.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The BEV version has :
* greater weight, 4760- pounds vs 3807- pounds
* wider rear tires, 255mm vs 235mm ( an aerodynamic penalty )
* larger frontal area, as it has 1.1- inch ( 27.94mm ) greater vertical body height ( body, not it's actual height )[ an aerodynamic penalty ]
* lower drag coefficient, Cd 0.28 vs Cd 0.34- 0.37 ( an aerodynamic asset )
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* 363% greater range on equivalent 'pack', 208- miles ( 335 km ) vs 57.2-miles ( 92.1 km )
* EPA Combined lower energy consumption, by 67.9%, 431.5 Wh/mi vs 1,345.5 Wh/mi
* EPA Combined heat energy , by 72.5%, 1,230.2 Btu/mi, vs 4,473.4 Btu/mi.
* with the XC40 T5 AWD ( R-Design ) ICE 'tank', the Recharge would have 1,078-miles range.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* with up to a 90- count difference in drag, this would be a good candidate for a technical paper, explaining the technology differential between the two siblings, and specifically 'where' the savings came from.
