The Insight has it's first potentially major issue: lost half my oil at work tonight and apparently my hood won't open. So time to try diagnosing it tomorrow and see if it's something I can fix for a reasonable cost. Suspecting valve cover gasket or oil pan? Car basically leaked no oil before this that I was aware of. Was about do do an oil change this weekend.
Otherwise, it's to the Prius C life I go, but I really want to keep the Insight. I wonder if a Prius C could get well above 70 mpg no matter how inefficient the driving conditions like the Insight?
If I had enough light I would take a look at it now but as is I'll have to wait until morning. So all I can do now is stress search for used Prius Cs in the area....something I always do when I can't fix what's wrong with the car immediately....maybe I just need to be patient and go to sleep so sunlight will come sooner.
