My experience is with swapping the bulbs in Hella H4s -- I find the LEDs have a more uniform, whiter light than the Halogens, but they don't have the reach down the road and the Hella low-beam cutoff is compromised. I added eyebrows like this:

There are no reflectors designed for LEDs
I would suggest to do a conversion to a lens, which are usually designed for LEDs.
