The lifted big tire heavy throttle 4wd guy down the street is in awe of the 20 mpg I get in my F250. So I guess doubling an badly inefficient setup shouldn't be that hard, but doubling my economy is a bit tougher. 40 is what the Golf is getting right now in the winter and it might fit in the bed of the 250. So if it would move the 250, swapping the 2liter in could increase economy.
