2018-02-08 183.5 5.94 $2.509 30.89 "First drive with new to me 2004 Honda Civic.

Tires at 32 PSI.

Had to replaced brakes. Discovered bad brake caliper dragging on longer trip that killed my MPG. "
2018-02-14 100.1 2.37 $2.509 42.24 "New entry here for rest of tank #1 to represent change after replacing brake calipers and flushing brake line fluid.

MPG back up due to:
- Inflating tires from 32 PSI to 36 PSI
- Replacing dirty air filter
- Better hypermiling techniques
- Tailwinds and eco-friendly routes

Inflating tires from 32 PSI to 36 PSI yielded a 1.6% improvement (0.55 mpg)

Higher MPG due to an abnormally large amount of highway driving.

55% city, 45% hwy.

-

Whole tank's average was 34.13 MPG (283.6 miles, 8.31 gal)"
2018-04-08 407.7 11.029 $2.659 36.97 "Current tank so far.

Tires inflated to 38 PSI for 38.8 mi; cold deflated to 33 PSI for 128.4 mi, reinflated to 41 PSI for rest of tank.

Includes lots of short trips on a cold tank.

Includes approximately 40 minutes of extraneous idling during practice for parking test (~0.2 gal wasted).

Also includes my driving test, where eco-driving could not be done.

80% city, 20% hwy."
2018-04-27 489.6 11.513 $2.799 42.53 "New tank record so far since I started using Torque and blocking the upper grille!

Trips before using Torque: averaging ~38 MPG
Trips using Torque: averaging 41-42 MPG
Trips with mods but not using Torque: averaging 43+

(My adapter stopped working for some reason so can't track it until I get it replaced or fixed).

At 365 miles (4/21/2018) had vehicle serviced, including the following:
- Timing belt replacement
- Alternator accessory belt replacement
- Water pump replacement
- Transmission fluid replacement
- A couple other minor things replaced

Results: achieved 50+ mpg on return home trip after service. Final MPG for 112 miles on 4/21/2018: 47.89 mpg.

Smooth wheel covers added to front two wheels at 393.1 miles.

Rear wheel covers and partial lower grille block/fog light cover added at 404.6 miles.

90% city, 10% highway."
2018-06-23 462.9 11.469 $2.899 40.36 "Typical short trips. Torque monitoring resumed at 15 miles.

Air dam added at 26.4 miles, noticeable benefit in coasting.

Intermittent P&G started at 212.3 miles.

New trip record: 62.6 MPG indicated, 52.5 actual with bad O2 sensor. (6/19/2018)

New day record: 57.7 MPG indicated, 48.4 actual with bad O2 sensor. (5/23/2018)

Check engine light came on around 70 miles. P0135, bank 1 O2 sensor...

95% city, 5% highway.

Apparently the bad O2 sensor was screwing up my mileage and Torque wasn't showing me. Tank should've been at 48 MPG. Bad sensor decreasing FE by 16%."
2018-07-14 305.9 6.571 $2.899 46.55 "O2 sensor replaced at 94.8 miles. CEL gone.

Pizza delivery started at 226 miles. Sign on car making drag worse than stock. Separate fuel log started for pizza delivery fuel economy.

100% city, with some idling (not much) required by deliveries."
2018-07-21 174.3 3.223 $2.749 54.08 "174.3 personal miles. 44.5 MPG for entire tank including pizza delivery, finishing off better than expected (Torque indicated tank was between 42 & 43 mpg). More DWL on personal drives, and learning the streets better for efficient driving while delivering pizza.

100% city."
2018-07-22 388.6 7.914 $2.899 49.1 "Partial trip to Virginia for college orientation. Brakes overheated due to wheel covers. Wheel covers permanently removed.

Most miles at 10PM-midnight with nearly no traffic! Perfect hypermiling opportunity! P&G 17-40-17 yielding ~60 MPG at night.
