One of these days I'm going to get in touch with some local transmission people and see if the experts think it's even possible to swap in a taller top gear, which is what I'd ideally like to do. I've had several on the forums here tell me that swapping out the final drive would be better or easier or more possible, so I'm not super hopeful, but there's a well-documented case, also on the forums, of a guy with a Saturn who swapped in a taller top gear and saw significant gains, though I realize that's a bit of an apples and oranges comparison."
