Partial fill because I am supposed to drive to Gilbert and gas is cheaper there.
This was one of my worst tanks! What did I do wrong?!"
2023-03-04 664 18.866 $3.189 35.2 "I went to the carwash because it was cheaper with cash and I have all that Accord money.

I only put in $40 because 3 of my last fills were less than that.

One was $41.94.

Unfortunately, 4 were over $50, and the last one was $49.95.

The pump clicked off at $39.35, so I figured that it was full, and topped off the rest so I wouldn't need to get change from the machine.

12.543 gallons for 556.6 miles didn't seem like enough, though.

That would have been 44.38 MPG!

My tank was just over 3/4 full.

I drove to Holbrook, ran to a few stores where I largely did not find what I needed, and returned to the car wash to top off, but there were signs all over saying ""No led"" or something.

What?!

I started to leave when I realized they were too lazy and stupid to write ""Unleaded.""

Then I saw a small note explaining their driver was late and they only had premium, but they were selling it for the unleaded price.

People always say that cars designed for 87 don't benefit from higher octanes, but I was already there, had a million things to do, and if I got marginally worse fuel economy, at least it was slightly cheaper.

I looked up my lifetime MPG with this car: 32.65.
I added up how far I drove before and after filling up and calculated that I needed a total of 20.32 gallons--7.77 more.

That sounded like a lot!

That would cost $24.79, but I didn't have a $5, so I put in $30, and it stopped at $20.16!

I went to the machine to get my change, but my receipt didn't have the code!

I went to e-mail the address on my receipt, since there didn't seem to be an office or anything, but it didn't load.

We only have 3g and I was under a metal roof.

I got home and sent a copy of my receipt.

Someone just sent me the code, so hopefully this fill-up cost $60.16, not $70!

I topped off 2.015 gallons at Safeway because I had $1 off and I was driving to the valley.

It doesn't seem that I logged this!

I just gently squeezed and then stopped it when it passed 2 gallons!

I thought that it just stopped early, but I drove something like 135 miles before it fell below full!"
