"This is the last fill-up (until further notice, perhaps) that will generate a log solely from a pump event. Rather than making my bike force-ingest as ""accurate"" a tank fill as possible, I will be storing fuel at the house (I use it quickly enough before it goes off) and gauging off that. I.E. if I have 10 gallons, that 10 gallons is my gauge to log from. If I'm caught out and about, I will pump from the pump, and record the FUEL- but comparison of total fuel consumption vs. miles will be based off when that 10 gallons is depleted, not some fluctuating or tedious fill line inside the tank. Should reduce margin of error and extend the averaging period as well. Blah blah blah. " |
