made a quick run to Harrison Idaho for PIE! Huckleberry & Raspberry mix, man it was good! Also had to try out the new 24" Parabellum windscreen for aero. It worked nice, plenty of air for the 85f sunny day and still pulled down 91-MPG!!

Made an incredible 2600+ mile trip, covered 6 states- Idaho, Montana, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and back to Idaho. Mostly interstate speeds of 75-85 mph although i did ride many smaller older highways as well! I covered elevations from 700' to 11,017'. I encountered beautiful weather for the most part, sunny, rain, snow and hail! Great ride, the bike performed flawlessly even with the huge load of gear i had attached to it(half my dresser haha)! :{)

I made a really nice 410 mile trip today. Rode west out to Ritzville, then south to Tri-Cities. Then i rode east on SH12 to Lewiston along the Lewis & Clark trail. Then from Lewiston north home. Although it was a beautiful sunny/partly cloudy day, it sure was cold with the windchill i was creating! :{)

I did it, Finally! I installed a smaller rear sprocket from a DCT version of the NC a couple of days prior. It is a 39T sprocket and i hoped would get me that little bump i needed to hit the Century mark!! I rode the beautiful Cd'A River Rd again. This time the weather was a lot colder, blustery with 20-25 mph cross winds and Sunny/partly cloudy with temps in the low 60's. It had rained earlier that morning and the road was wet with puddles. I rode along the beautiful river 50 miles out and 50 miles back keeping my speeds between 50-40mph and tucking at times. I arrived back at the gas station and topped off the tank nursing it to the top and the pump shut off at .994 gallons netting me 100.6 MPG!!! A new personal best!! WhooRahh!! :{)

This was on my fav river rd testing grounds. I rode the Cd'A river Rd again. This time with brand new tires F-120/70/17 and R-150/70/17. I also had my camping clothes/gear loaded in my 46L top box for this trip. I figured i'd gain a little with the taller rear tire and then lose a little with the big 46L top box and be a wash, i guess not. So far i've clocked 99 mpg, 98 mpg and now a respectable 94 mpg! This also included a full throttle pass to get around a land Yacht pulling a 30' travel trailer and a 3 mile side road trip. So, pretty good mpg, i'm happy with it! :{)
