At 1/2 tank used, Valvoline Full Synthetic oil was replaced, Spark Plugs NGK Iridium-X, Fram Air Filter, Fram Oil Filter Tough Guard. Hopefully the fuel economy will be much better after this upgrade to Synthetic oil. Odometer reading at 31,856 miles. A full Engine wash was done. Engine was idling until hot to evaporate remaining degreasing materials = not so FE. Expect better FE next gas tank! |

No A/C usage at all. Focus mainly on slower/smoother (close to 2000 rpm) acceleration from full stop (at stop lights or from park), try to reduce braking both on highway and in city, stay around 55-60mph on highway, tires pressure at at 40psi. Pumped it up to 44psi, max recommended pressure. Hopefully I will be able to crank out more mpg for next fuel log. Use Shell, premium V-power, pump #7. |
