150114.45mi. Found some loose wires. Fixed em and I hope I will see some gain in MPG. Again, Really practicing keeping my speed up. More momentum helps overall and I P&G rarely. Only when I get about a 2:1 ratio of G to P. What I do instead is keep my momentum up and EOC with maximum "off" time. I have found several points in my commute where I can get 1, 2, and even a 3 mi coast. I have found a route where i get 3mi coast and average about 65miles/hr. INTENSE STUFF MAN! |

149645.15mi. I worked really hard at getting higher data on this tank. but I seem to be capping out at this 39.2 mpg range. I really think I have maxed out my techniques. It now comes down to modifications to my vehicle. Not sure what to do next. |

149228.3mi. This tank I thought it was going to suck. But it turned out OK. I had to do a lot of hauling on this tank. Also, i got stuck on a long trip on the interstate and was stuck in a bad rhythm of wasting momentum. Gain speed and loose speed. |

148786.85mi. Time for an oil change I am finding that keeping my speed up is overall helpful in my vehicle (50-60). At slower speeds it is more of a challenge to maintain momentum going up inclines. I dont do much pulse and glide anymore either unless it is all on a long slight decline. I have also invented my own technique: Pulse, DWL, then Glide. I use this to gain momentum in flat spots leading up to hills, then I maintain high vacuum on the climb, and finally EOC on the downhill. I have done wonderful with these techniques and it seems to be a little less work with same if not better results. Also, I have begun keeping my window down (little pleasures) does not seem to make a huge dif. Maybe 1/2MPG. I know that would add up over time but I am not willing to sweat that much for the gain. |

148383.6 mi. Just the same ole routine. At this pint my driving habits have become a norm. It was a total change that has become habit. now I have begun to fine tune minor details. Also, I have found a few long distance coasting spots. one is 2mi another is 3mi. EOC for 3mi. that is awesome. |

Miles: 147945. I feel like i have maxed out my abilities of driving. At this point modifications to my vehicle will be the answer to better mileage. I believe synthetic fluids and electric fans are top priority for me. BTW |

I thought I would have done better this tank than last tank. But maybe I miscalculated. I still did better than my first tank. I feel as though the non ethanol fuel has made a significant impact in overall economy. The vac gauge has really helped too. The next tank will be my first full tank with the gauge. Also thought it would be helpful to me to record my actual mileage at the time of fill-up: 147505.7 |

on the last tank i really tried to keep my top speed under 55MPH. I ordered a vac gauge and will be installing it as soon as it comes. ALSO... On this refill I used regular gas with NO ETHANOL. we shall see if there is a difference in mileage. |
