About to do an oil change and spark plug change for next tank.
If you don't know changing the spark plugs on a 4.6L engine sucks. Some dumb ass put the spark plugs on this engine on the inside of the lifter valley right next to the fuel injectors, under the fuel rail. Changing spark plugs is going to be a PITA. |

Didn't record the dash MPG reading this time. For the holidays we have been highway driving the town car more, doing less cab type work with it.
After this tank, half way into the next tank of gas I replaced the TPS and deleted the air intake silencer box, due to the fact the coupling attaching to main air intake pipe was seperating, allowing a small amout of dirt past the air filter and small amount of air mass to get past the MAF unmeasured.
Still trying to figure out the 35mph to 45mph intermitant miss, that is slowly becoming more and more of a regular occurance. |
