Standard Toyota Corolla (European Model 3 Door Hatchback with seized 1.3 litre Gas (Petrol) engine. Using conversion to promote local Health as well as National Irish Re-cycling campaign. April 1st the conversion from petrol to Electric power started.Hence the Name. A local "Name the Beast" school competition MAY change the initial name but that,s it meantime.
To be powered by 36 volt and 48 Volt Fork Lift parts. (Collection in two weeks)
Performance criteria is hoped to be medium range up to 50 MPH. It is NOT planned to be earthshattering,just Eco Friendly.
Planned Mods:
Addition of 48 volt Electric Motor as Drive source coupled to existing five speed Transmission. Motor Spec to be added here. I am NEW to Electrics being primarily a gearhead but I have many marvelous examples in your ranks to encourage me to "get on the E.V. curve".
