Description: Extended cab conversion Silverado. 2wd with 2.73 rear ratio and Turbo 350C transmission. Originally equipped with a 305, it now has a GM Performance 350HO engine. This is basically a carbureted Vortec engine built to produce 330 hp. Exhaust is a 2.5" dual system fed by long tube headers and muffled by a pair of Dynomax Super Turbo RV mufflers.
Build Thread:
Current Mods: *Replaced factory 3.5" air dam with 5" air dam from LMC. 12-29-2010
*Rejetted primary jets down from 64 to 63 to account for more restrictive Super Turbo mufflers that were installed 12-30-2010. 1-04-2011
*Installed 80% grill block. 1-04-2011
*Installed new plug wires 1-08-2011. Found #5 wire had burnt on header and began shorting out. Symptoms weren't apparent until 30 miles before replacement date. Truck continues to run the same as before symptoms became apparent.
*Replaced 180 degree thermostat with 195. 1-29-2011.
*Grill block disintegrated. Painted cardboard lasts surprisingly long. 2-14-2011.

Planned Mods: *TPI intake conversion
*4L60E transmission swap
*Hydraulic roller cam with reduced duration
*Tonneau cover
