*Changed wheels tires from 225/55/17 (41PSI) to 215/65/16 (40PSI) on 1/26/13. Old wheel/tire combo weighed 45.8lbs, new one weighs 42.2lbs, nominal tire diameter went from 26.74 to 27.00 inches. Increase of 0.26" or 0.96%. Miles traveled numbers shown on the fuel log are calibrated/adjusted for tire diameter difference.
Planned Mods:
Currently running 215/65/16 tires. Will go to 215/70/16 tires for about a 4% increase (from stock config) in tire height to improve hiway gearing. Currently turning 2800RPMs at about 70MPH on the hiway.
