Description: A lighter Crown Vic; Performance upgrades (HPP) without all the options, make it the lightest Panther platform vehicle I've owned. And a good starting point for EcoModding.
This is my daily driver, so anything I can do to boost the efficiency, I'll try.
Build Thread:
Current Mods: -WAP Aluminum engine block (-77 lbs)
--Steeda under drive pullies
--75mm Throttle body
--MSD ignition coils
--Accel wires
-Smaller CVPI torque converter
-removed mechanical fan (-8lbs)
-swapped in MMC drive shaft (-10lbs)
-Removed kick panel, hardware, part of fan shroud (-4.6lbs)
-3 gauge A-pillar (vac, volt, tach)
-lower grille block
-Mach1 chin spoiler
-weather stripping under turn signals

Planned Mods: -start underbody panels
-move exhaust into the fenders, out the rear bumper; install rear diffuser
-SCT tune for efficiency
-Find more weight to lose.
