I’ve got my next mod planned out already! First off, I finally got my fender on and painted, and new lights installed... the bracket needs replaced, as it re-broke as i put the fender on...

During my tracking of a misfire I found out that I have(I think but not 100% positive) a faulty injector... I pulled the fuel rail and injectors and intake manifold off my spare L61 parts car and cleaned them up for a condition check(injectors) and install...(btw my injectors have a two hole spray pattern so eventually I’d like to upgrade them for a better type)

I also ported the spare intake manifold, as there were a couple big restrictions that I couldn’t help but alleviate... first, there was something sticking out under where the TB goes(not anymore) and the ports in the manifold(where it meets the head) were a good 2-2.5mm smaller in both height and width, so I enlarged them to nearly match... others who have done this mod have experienced gains of 8-10whp with no loss of low end TQ so I don’t see it hurting mileage much if any...

my next mod is done... I ended up getting bored and making a partial Kamm for my car out of scrap coroplast... it’s angle is adjustable so it might not be correct right now but can be correct later with some work...

More mods! I picked her up from the shop the other day, having had its suspension basically rebuilt... new shocks and struts, and 2”/1.75” drop springs... gets rid of most of that unsightly wheel gap, which also helps aero... she handles great too, and *shouldn't* chew tires so badly anymore

Just an update, the Kammback that I was building never worked out to provide any gain to me(not enough time to really optimize it) so its off and not returning lol...

Car is returning mileage in low-mid fifties indicated on my work commute when temps are up into the fifties... should be capable of at least 50 actual once temps stay up and we stop getting snow... trying to decide on my next mod...

Thanks! I’m not nearly at my summertime goal but I’m trying... here’s to breaking the 50(at the pump) barrier! (For real, this time)

I wonder what benefit you would get from combining your original kammback with the lip extension.

I was wondering the same earlier today... after I get the trunklid extension painted I might revisit the Kammback... to be honest, I carry it in my trunk lol

Well, I hit ANOTHER deer in my car... I swear they hate me lol...

$920 in damage, which I’ll be able to fix for about $20 out of pocket, keeping the rest of the check... more mods to come!
