Has anyone used these? How well do they work and how long do they last?

Apparently Acura and a lot of European cars come with them (bracketless wipers) as original equipment:

I just ordered a pair (free shipping). I needed new wipers anyway. The "Evolution" model is no longer being made by Bosch, so this is a close-out. The new versions of wipers by Bosch look the same to me. I don't think the rebate will pan out because it's the traditional mail-in rebate scam. The Amazon site says shipping of 2-4 weeks, so they could "legally" mail them to me in June. If I get them in time, I may attempt registered mail to see if I can trick them into thinking I mean business on my rebate (too tired to put up a real fight).

When I get the wipers, it will be a simple matter of doing before/after tuft tests with pictures (I like tuft tests I can see from inside the car).

If it's a scam, I'll just go to the store and buy another type of bracketless wiper and then I'll post here about how they work. I'll leave the testing of aerodynamics to someone else.

I received my wipers today. They work great. I think their profile is almost identical to that of collapsed bracketed wipers. I think they will certainly give at least some advantage when the wipers are above their usual resting spot. cfg83 will have to let us know about that.

Interesting thing is that each wiper came in its own shipping box. Each box was big enough to hold about 100 wipers.

Will do. I waited a few days, so I am guessing I will get mine Monday-ish. I will install one and leave the other one stock for the tuft-test/visual comparison.
