Aerohead, I am always amazed by life's timing. Couldn't you have had those mishaps with your truck after the wind tunnel and Bonneville or, maybe never?

It's a 1994,2WD,2.7-liter,M-5 trans,3-passenger,regular cab,about 3,800-pounds as outfitted.
We used 29-square feet for frontal projected area.Toyota never published the frontal area.I estimated 28.925 from a photo-enlargement of their technical drawings.My tires are a little wider than OEM.If it's 'bigger',then Cd would be a little lower.Original Cd according to Toyota was 0.44.

mini-update
When I left the IHPVA speed trials I topped off the tank and ran non-stop to Fernley,Nevada,181-miles.Tank mileage indicated 37.57 mpg at an average 64-mph.Grades on I-80 were pretty gentle and winds were more favorable.
Tomorrow I head for Southern California.

Phil, can you link to the technical drawing(s) you used to do the frontal area? If we know a major dimension, I can trace them in DataCAD and give you an accurate frontal area, to check your number.
Or, if you use a long (telephoto) lens on a camera and take a frontal picture with a scale (rod or measuring tape) that is on the plane of the highest portion of the truck, then that would be even better. If the lens is about at the center (particularly the side-to-side center) and from as far away as you can manage with the camera and lens you have, then that makes it more accurate.
