your realize that your "test drive to Florida" is invalid.
what was the average speed, times of day etc........elevation, outside temp, etc

Hey guys
Don't know if you have mention this before,but,
A magnet will probably reach the curie point being under the hood,
So If a magnet does something then probably it won't ,due to high temprature

Yes, you are correct. Being Florida may have affected the magnets, but can't be sure. Next trip I will replace with a new set to test.
The difference in mileage between down and back is negligible. I am going to disconnect battery over nite to erase ECM and reset with magnets applied, then do a another test in fall.
