I Robot movie car ??

With the wheels all bulged like that and a larger grille, this car would most likely have a higher drag than a stock TT ( and a larger frontal area. )

Sure looks futuristic though !

That's not quite the same as the I Robot car, but it sure looks similar.

Not enough taper on the backs of the wheel enclosures.

That's egg-zactly what I was thinking :

I have no problem with it from a design POV. It's not practical, but I love it when people go for it.

personally i think the stock TT is an aerodynamicly irrelevant car, sure the font looks nice and smooth as do all new audi's (apart from these huge grills they have lately), but what where they thinking at the back? seems like they just reused the front.. i think at least one person must have gotten in the wrong way round

i heared some race driver even managed to flip one of the early models at high speed, after wich they fitted a small lip spoiler at the back as standerd on the later models to cure the flow separation

since audi has a long standing history of good aero, and some of their new, and old, cars have really exemplary Cd's i really can't see how they justified this design... well i can, because as a shape it looks really nice... reminds me of a computer mouse designed by apple or something, but aerodynamicly it's a desaster

as for the modded one... i think the integrated dog cage is a nice feature

True, and actually there was a recall because of that for the 2000 and early 2001 model year cars. Owners of the spoilerless TTs were given the option of having the rear spoiler installed for free. If they declined, they had to sign a waiver. Naturally, a majority of the original owners took the free rear spoiler...which is why you'll rarely see a TT today without one.

no rear-view mirrors, a blocked rear window, and wide rear window pillars.
I wonder how he drives in rush hour traffic.

( Does anyone see any rear view cameras on this car ? )

And ... I wonder how long that the super low fiberglass font end is going to remain un cracked.

TT

Minority Report? It seems oddly familiar. Is it real? Can there be any suspension travel? Volkswagen/Porsche/Audi knows better than this! Real eye candy, but an aerodynamic monstrosity! Just when I thought Hollywood had done all the damage they could do to us with "Fast and the Furious," we get this? I think the media should be required to file an environmental impact study before they're allowed to release images like this. We've never recovered from the Triumph TR-7 advertising blitz of 1975.Audi is poised to knock us back another 30-years.Shame shame! Das ist gut aerodynamik-----------------nicht!
