For now its slam bang. I'll add that to the code later once I get it functioning properly and get my open/close set points figured out.
Last night I got it hooked up and running. For a while I had some issues until I figured out I had the coolant temp signal coming into a digital pin instead of an analog pin. With that fixed, I tweaked the open settings and that seemed to get it working. Now, it should just be a matter of tweaking the set points. Though, I did have an issue this morning with it opening up right away. I'll have to look into that.

The grill block seems to be working pretty nicely over the weekend. But, I'm quickly finding out that I'm going to need an upper grill block to fully test out the piece. Without the upper grill blocked, it doesn't have much effect opening and closing it. So, I've started working on the upper grill block for the car. There is more info and pictures in my build thread for the car.

Have I missed it, or is there an STL file somewhere in this thread?
Also: how have you mounted your coroplast? I see a reference to wood blocks...

I use these Delphi Weather Pack waterproof connectors on the big truck. They work great.
This place on eBay has them cheap and they ship fast.

Yeah those are neice but you would have to cut the connector off the servo, and then the individual cables may be just a little bit too thin to provide a proper seal.
It will still be better than before.

3D Printing being so cheap anymore, I've got access to one. I'd like to print some stuff and this has been on my list a LONG time. Any chance I can get these files from you and give it a spin?

Any updates on this? How has it been working out for you? Any changes you have made? Any changes you would make after using it for a while?

Its been on the car and was driven for a while. However, I never had the upper grill block in place, so it never had to open up. But, for a while now I have had the transmission out of the car to fix the 2nd gear grind issue. Its possible I'll swap the grill block over to my 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage come spring.
