The white one is two seated: the door opens toward the back seat. The driver enters by lifting the canopy. Like here (the original short variant):

Thanks.

I'd need a trapeze to get into the front. They'd have to hog-tie me and stuff me into the back.

It is actually pretty easy to get into the Leiba. Especially if You're used to the GoOne. And a lot easier than all those velomobiles with the tiny cajak-like holes.

Today it was sunny, 2 degrees Celsius cold, no wind. A short test ride with the two strange plates on the back of the tail... no side clearance issues, my stiffening efforts seem to be successful. And the bike was faster, despite the cold temperature. Not much, but i did never before reach 41.5 kp/h at a certain spot, where i usually go 37-39 kph). It is unclear whether thats an effect of the two plates (covering the wheel) or the larger and smoother surface of the canopy after reworking it.

removed the plates - not necessary after successful test.

Hey Beate, any update on this velo? I think it’s one the coolest-looking ones. I almost bought a DF way back when, but wow the prices for these things are wild!

handbuilt in small numbers is quite expensive. But surprisingly cheap compared to open trikes - an scorpion pedelec from HP velotechnik is often more expensive than a DF (Bülk and Snoek are currently cheapest)

Here a recent pic of my bike:

New fenders, new bottom covers of the wheel housings already made ist slightly faster. In connection with the Wheel covers i mounted on monday, apparently even more. But that's nothing more than a preliminary impression during a short test which hopefully will be verified in the near future.

Also among the fastest 3-wheel HPVs ever built and sold. They're at a great price given the competition, IMO.

The results of tests should prove interesting.

If You fit in (i do), the snoek ist actually the fastest ever among the standard velomobiles. Simply because it is the smallest. When i tried to enter i was quicker out than in; i was pretty much irritated by some details (sharp borders!) and did not find the pedals in the darkness.
