That model seems pretty poorly thought out.

Rear passenger area is enclosed? WHY. Do you want to spend 2/3 of your battery trying air condition a greenhouse?

And you can already buy electric tuk tuks with almost that kind of range and top speed quite cheaply.

I don't see how a "sexy" (their model looks worse than a standard tuk tuk to me?), high performance tuk tuk has any kind of market.

Here's one with a solar panel:

I agree of course. That concept was not produced by Tesla. I think it's a too literal copy of the Cybertruck details.

Productized, it would be more open, like an FUV.

But they put more work into it than I did permalink #537.

I don't like trikes in the first place because they are tippy and low performance. Perhaps steering complexity is reduced, but then you need a differential for the rear, so overall the complexity is probably a wash. My preference is RWD and front steer, reverse-trike.

Jeremy Clarkson drove that point into the ground.

Reverse, 3-wheel drive and steer. Arcimoto's FUV has torque steering with it's front wheel drive.

Of course, you can always get a bit more when you pay a bit more. My comment was trying to keep Indian budgets in mind. Perhaps it is significantly cheaper to build a trike than a reverse.

The Arcimoto would certainly be a killer tuk tuk.

Off-topic: Arcimoto Roadster with fifth wheel hitch and a passenger trailer.

Cybertruck: One of the best parts of my day is watching the drone overflight of the Austin factory, at 1.75x. Berlin just had their first gantry crane delivered and Austin just erected the first column for a gantry crane.

This ends with a residential area and some weird landforms across the freeway that I believe are part of Tesla's holdings.

I watch them at x2... but I watch many things on Youtube at x2.

Saves a lot of time.

I watch them at x2 and mainly watch the mini preview on the slide bar to find the bits that look worthwhile. I kill the sound too.

'Wow, another concrete footer!' goes stale at some point.

I hadn't realized how far behind I was in this thread. Maybe I wouldn't have opened it if I did!

Star Wars seems to pretend there is atmosphere in space until it is inconvenient.

I don't know about you, but the Pterosaur was extinct before I was born!

The only electric vehicle that I could afford would be a used Power Wheels, and that would be a stretch.
