And that's the advantage of having a trailer: you get to choose. You're not barraged with requests, but you can always offer.

Considering that both a truck and a trailer would be supposed to have a very similar purpose, isn't that quite surprising that people would rather ask for the help of someone who has a truck instead of the one with the trailer (as long as they know about the trailer)?

No, trailers are mysterious things that are hard to back up.

I know, it's crazy.

But I didn't mean just borrowing the trailer, and eventually the vehicle already fitted with a tow hook in order to get the job done. I mean people would also request the owner to help loading and unloading it too. Then, naturally, the one who is supposed to be already used with backing the trailer would be there...

Just A Car Guy: the great artist Fortunino Matania working outside is studio

The [once-famous] artist Fortunino Matania (if that is his real name) had a portable studio for painting. It would maker a nice toy hauler. The car in the background is a Rolls Royce. You should see his home studio.

Great idea trailer but have managed to break three that i have bought. All have failed due to manufacturering faults. Is it back luck or am i desined not to have a trailer. First one was a tyre blow out caused be pervious owner fitting too longer bolts for mudguards. 2nd one cracked weld on chassis axle fitting. 3rd one melted a taper bearing that was covered in grease. Baffled on last one so is machanic. Never seen a bearing fail with grease on it. Removed remains with angle grinder and crowbar.

The picture is on an old system I've forgotten the password to; but at Bonneville I found a 1950 Spartan that had a lift back to carry a race car.

The longer the trailer, the easier it is to back up. Which kind of sucks because noobs are the ones with the short ones.
