Just the frame rails and crossmembers would be mortise and tenoned.
CR — I like the roll-up part but there could be a corrugated metal ridge cap to store the two sides under. The canvas could roll down to the bench or all the way to the ground.
That's all down the road. Right now I'm comparing prices of dimensional Fir and glu-lam beams (2.5X $$$). Maybe the first one will be a cheap proof-of-concept. Scale this up to 6ft floor and move the axles to the middle:

Thanks. I pulled an all-nighter to make it, and eventually crushed it for lack of storage space. A low-res Template with no taper in elevation at the rear.
It was intended as a 4ft wide teardrop. Now I'm thinking a Shepherd's trailer with benches over the wheels and divided into equal thirds with the taper in the benches ahead of and behind the wheels.

OK. Well, sometimes I get quite confused about those hut types. But anyway, since Quonset huts tend to have a good structural integrity, plus the relatively low weight, that seems to be an interesting design to adapt to a tiny house on wheels in order to circumvent some building regulations and eventually pay fewer property tax. |

Quonset huts tend to be stressed skin designs, interior reinforcement is unnecessary

What I learned with the Silver Streak Clippper (not this one) is you don't get much upper storage.
In my current Airstream, I went to a section of floor to ceiling shelving.

Sure something meant for a stationary application, built over a trailer chassis in order to circumvent building regulations, would also allow side protrusions for added space (or more windows) with fewer impact to aerodynamics.
