Got an email today saying I had until the 30th to order a new company car. This would have been my 3rd. Started with a hand-me-down 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. Currently with the 2017 Mazda CX-5...

3 vehicles were on the list (normal is 8);
Dodge Ram 1500 4x4
Toyota Camry Hybrid
RAV4 Hybrid

The Toyotas were "unavailable", meaning the choice is the truck.

I'm ignoring the email until they make me turn in the Mazda. Not like it's a fabulous vehicle, but it's decent at everything, and certainly more useful to my work than a truck. I need another truck like I need a hole in my head.

Update and summary from other threads.

Compy crashed and I needed to reinstall Windows and my programs. I still haven't checked the list of programs that were removed to see what else I am missing before I save an image of my hard drive.
I lost a crown, the tire blew on my Camry, and my car fell off the jack, and I started smelling something burning.

This confused me after I bought new tires.

When I checked my fluids before driving to see my girlfriend yesterday I noticed oil all over the top. I wiped it down and tightened the oil fill cap, but when I checked before driving back it was in the same condition, except the cap was still tight.

I stopped in Payson for a burrito and the oil was low, but still above the bottom line. I wiped the oil again and drove home.

I was supposed to have 3 teleclients today, but the first mom didn't respond and the second was allegedly asleep. I sprayed my carwash solution over the oily parts of my Camry--including the hood insulation and after my client I attached an old hose from the backyard to the front hose, which at least I had put in the garage, and hosed off everything with a pressure nozzle.

I also changed into a swimsuit, climbed under my Accord, and sprayed off the carwash solution I squirted there.

It isn't supposed to get below freezing until Wednesday.

So far people think the valve cover is leaking--and the belt flung oil all over the engine bay.

Expecting a country song shortly. Substitute Camry with pickup though.

popping dent

If you haven't taken care of this:
I fixed a friends Prius.
Bought a $5 nylon trim tool kit from Harbor Freight Tools.
Removed the fascia.
Placed it's finished side against a patio cushion.
Used my $16 heat gun to soften the back side of plastic.
Pushed against the 'bulge' with one foot while I held the heat on, which pushed the plastic back out, restoring the fascia.
Minor scratches to the clear coat came right out with 3M Finesse, microfine polishing compound.
Then wax.

With all that material that was removed, surely you can do a better job on the back of the cab.

And lay a straight edge on the tops of the rear doors to find the cut line.

That generation of the Camry is still the one I like the most, even though there was no station-wagon available anywhere else, not even in Australia.

I removed a dent from Chorizo's bumper by removing it and applying hot water and my head or something.

Unfortunately, I wasn't smart enough to put down a towel, so I removed the dent, but scratched the bumper!

Then some idiot rolled his 1999 Accord into Chorizo, so I need to do this again.

I used my homemade hot glue puller on Mom's bumper when she backed into a wheelchair.

I probably should have pulled the bumper and used hot water and my head, but this way I removed, let me see, carry the one--zero fasteners!

It isn't perfect, though. I will end up using the hot head method.

Aesthetics are unimportant when machines aren't running right. How a thing looks is the next priority after how a thing operates.

My valve cover gasket is leaking! :D

I cleaned my engine and treated it for athlete's foot:

I idled for 5 minutes, got bored, and shut her down!

My brother asked to buy Dollar Tree, so I took him in the leaky sedan... instead of the other sedan... or the nonrunning coupes...

I am disappointed in you, Don't Hit Me, Bro!

Is there any possible way this is related to falling off the jack or just my continued bad luck?!

The replacement was $14.13 through Amazon, and it will be here tomorrow.

I supposedly bought spark plugs, but I don't see any receipts for buying coils. I also have an AC sanitizer.

Big Two said I needed those, wipers, air filters, a fuel injection flush, and then big stuff.

The fuel injector cleaner is with some MAF and throttle bottle cleaner I bought.

I just need to find my spark plugs and put those with everything else.
