I hadn't thought of changes demanded by brakes or acceleration...
more watching the MPG /HP demand from an Ultragauge to see if a change in the angle of attack made a change.

If the aerodynamic drag of this "lifting surface(s)" is greater than the benefit to RR, ... Jim Hall (Chaparral Racecars) I am not.

Terse: Polymetal/Dibond.

Verbose: Whatever they make difussers from, depending on whether it's a flat plate or complex as they tend to be,

You'll notice the pivot point is raised, such that as the floorplate deploys it swings down and forward to mate up to a rigid difusser.

Ignore the scalloped edge. That's depricated. I lean more toward fiberglass rods for bows, rather than inflatable.

Fiberglass rods like for those "curved" in camping tents?...use like hoops on an articulated bus /conestoga wagon, straight sided & top with radius-ed corners....folds up accordion like.

Something I’ve noticed on the commercial truck trailtail is a need of flexible cables to keep the folded panel in place(inward), not rods “pushing” the panel out.
Are the aerodynamic forces on a panel shaped like the “template”greater inward or outward? Or neutral?

Does a "hybrid", starting with orbywan's fixed 3-5 foot, that I may add to, make sense? Having found proximity sensors that will warn of near collisions WAY BACK THERE. I'm becoming braver with the design. As you remember I'm starting with 32 foot, with a wag of 9 foot from the rear wheels.
