Cool. What about the rubber moldings? Waxed or not?
I should have waxed the chrome wheels when I got the car. Brake dust collects in the rim and they are starting to go.

Clean it.
I always keep my car clean, not for any MPG gain, but because I believe that all cars should be clean, even if its a beater, just a matter of pride i think.

I recall one commercial claiming a Formula One team gains a tiny fraction of a second per lap from two to four hours of hand-polishing the surface finish.
Which, when you consider these cars have nearly a thousand horsepower and the aerodynamics of a brick, means that your typical hundred horsepower car with a 0.29 Cd isn't going to see squat at realistic speeds.

A friend once told me that his airplane would cruise about 2 MPH faster when he washed the bug splats off. His normal cruise speed was over 200 MPH.
It makes a difference when the roughness extends past the boundary layer. Some airplanes will use flush head rivets where the boundary layer is thin, and round head rivets where the boundary layer is thicker.
I'd be very surprised if somebody was able to measure the MPG difference from removing bug splats from a car. Waxing, no way.

06 Canyon: The vacuum gauge plus wheel covers helped increase summer 2015 mileage to 38.5 MPG, while summer 2016 mileage was 38.6 MPG without the wheel covers. Drove 33,021 miles 2016-2018 at 35.00 MPG.
22 Maverick: Summer 2022 burned 62.74 gallons in 3145.1 miles for 50.1 MPG. Winter 2023-2024 - 2416.7 miles, 58.66 gallons for 41 MPG.

You must live in a city or similar. I live a little more out in the sticks and I can detail my car and within one day it's filthy again. Dust, pollen, bugs, mud, everywhere. I've yet to find anything to keep my car(s) clean for longer than a few hours of driving here. Just pointing out a different view.
