10-feet/failed prediction

No comment on how in his movie he said sea levels would rise 10 feet by 2013 or 2014, then buys a beach front mansion a few years later, likely using money made off that film?

If you want to see literally every failed inconvenient truth prediction just search "inconvenient truth memes".
*I'll have to re-visit the show.I don't recall any talk of 10-feet by 2013-14.Maybe 2100.Some today believe that could happen, and they're the ones camping out where those changes are apt to occur.
Glaciologists now believe that it may be the East Antarctic ice shelf that will be an issue. The Eastern Weddell Sea is anticipated to out warm any other body of water.
Last year,India did a single space launch which put 104-satellites into orbit, which can measure the entire surface of the Earth every day.
Laser ranging is accurate to a fraction of a millimeter. We'll have (do have now) high resolution measurements on a daily basis for analysis.
I've been compiling my own list for 2018,just based upon what basically PBS has reported (no other network deems Earth important enough to comment on).
So far,I've seen nothing which runs counter what Gore reported in An Inconvenient Truth.
I'll share that after New Years.
And the good news about being around today is,that you can go online and fact check anything said by anybody in the public domain.
If your children are ever diagnosed with leukemia, that's probably just your profit-motivated doctor exaggerating things. What the hell would they know.Just a bunch of Ivy League -ricks trying to suck out your hard-earned money, pay off medical school, and enrich themselves with AMA lies.Blood cancer, what a myth.

The east antartic ice sheet?
That must be the one with volcanoes erupting under it.

I will save you an hour.

Every BS line from the movie broken down, about a 20 to 30 minute read.

Yes,the report was from,Geophysical Research Letters,http://doirg/bzsd (2017).
The E.Antarctic ice sheet may be more vulnerable than previously thought.
The University of Wellington:3-D ice-sheet model predicts greatest warming of the Weddell Sea which will attack the ice sheet at Recovery Basin, which abuts the Sea.
Reported: NATURE,Vol.542,23 February,2017,p.394-5
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
There has been volcanic activity there in the recent past.Tectonic rebound from ice loss is feared to be a potential trigger for additional volcanism, but the main concern will be the warm water eroding the ice from below,at the grounding line.
*the Larsen-A is history
*the Larsen-B is history
*part of the Larsen-C is history
*and another Larsen-C chunk of 50,000 sq-km has fractured,which is 350m thick.
*there are some sub-sea asperities which could tend to hold the sheet, even if it floats off the continent, but it's days are numbered.
*and glaciers which it buttresses will then accelerate into the ocean, for sea-level rise,as they are presently not 'in' the water.

Last winter the antartic was only a few percent off its 1980 base line.
I wait to see what will happen after this winter.
The way it was sold to me is that it would get warmer and warmer, there would be less and less ice, once it was gone it wasn't coming back.

I'm so glad carbon cap and tax didn't pass in 2010.

Falsehoods in Gore's An Inconvenient Truth

Believe it at your own peril! It's not even creative propanganda.
Every 'black-swan' event we've experienced can be viewed in the light of climate change. And the recent dead will be happy to know that you work tirelessly to kill even more.
If we didn't have new weather records then we'd have climate stasis.Yes?
Again.Save yourself a lot of grief and stay away from 3rd-party interpretations unless this is your job. Then it's understandable that your just another harlot, compensated for keeping the denial juggernaut in motion.

How are your numbers being reported?
*'extent' or 'volume'? there's a world of difference between the two.
*There is snowfall because of so much evaporated water vapor from the warmer ocean.
But stronger foehn winds are blowing some snow off the continent before it ever has a chance to accumulate and form new ice.
*There may be new ice,but it's not ancient ice,and its not thick, and it won't last next southern hemispheric 'summer.'
*The loss is occurring underwater where the ice interfaces with the submerged continent, called the grounding line.

I am compensated. We all are.
Every day not having to live under cap and tax or some stupid gasoline tax intended to save the world.
Not that a gas tax would effect me much as I drive an electric vehicle.
But the funny thing is if cap and tax passed I probably wouldnot have had the money to buy a nissan leaf, be able to afford to say "no" to natural gas, redo the electrical so I can put up solar panels, install wood stoves for home heat, install a hot water heater heat pump, plant saplings, plant fruit trees.
Most of these things made possible by not having a carbon tax.

There are a few medical problems doctors are able to substantially treat. Mostly they entertain the patient while nature takes its course.

It's about a tie in my book between medicine and climate as least understood domains of science.
