2nd video Part-1

At 4:03,my question is,had the chimp heard the tone, done a task, and been rewarded an initial time, then in subsequent sessions, been exposed to the same tone?
Or did the initial tone set off the dopamine release?

Groups,Tribes,& Human Ultrasociality

This is exactly the sort of stuff Sagan wrote about in 'Dragons of Eden.'
Of particular interest to me is disinhibition of the R-complex switch, which ordinarily short-circuits the reptilian brain during waking hours, and without, allows fight or flight,non-thinking,DNA-memory-reactionary behavior to overpower the left-hemisphere's rational counterbalance.
Tribal sentries and sentinels become 'enemy',in a dyslexic inverted logic.

Living In The Futures Past? An apostrophe for possession wouldn't send me down the rabbit hole of historical revisionism. It's not just about the Holocaust anymore. First it was the iXXX/1XXX telescoping of a millennium into oblivion (new earth) now it's that the world was covered in mud in 1810 but nobody wrote it down because PTSD (mud flood).

Weird thing is that on the 14th Suspicious 0bservers reported on a mud volcano in Azerbaijan:

https://www.azernews.az/nation/145609.html

It turns out there are underwater mud volcanoes in the Caspian Sea. Who knew?

Quote:
Azerbaijan or as it is called Land of Fire has the highest number of mud volcanoes in the world. Some 350 out of over 1,000 mud volcanoes in the world are located here.

The world’s largest mud volcanoes - Boyuk Khanizadagh and Turaghai - are both in Azerbaijan. Boyuk Khanizadagh, the diameter and height of which are 10 kilometers and 700 meters respectively, erupted on October 10, 2001, shooting out flames for 300 meters in the air. It was the highest record for flames shot from a mud volcano.

Underground and submarine mud volcanoes are also located in Azerbaijan.

There are more than 140 submarine volcanoes in the Caspian Sea. Eight islands in the Baku Archipelago are mud volcanoes by origination.

About 23 mud volcanoes in Azerbaijan received the status of the National Park and are protected by the state. In addition, they were included in the list of Seven Wonders of the World.

There are several interesting facts about mud volcanoes in Azerbaijan.
As I said, rabbit hole.

We are likely to see between 2C and 4C warming this century.

'Uninhabitable Earth' Spotlights 3 Climate Change Misunderstandings

More than HALF of all the fossil fuels EVER consumed - happened in the last 25 years, or so.

What part of "uninhabitable" is good? Listen before you answer, please.

4 degrees cooler is unhabitable too. We know the earth will return to an ice age sooner rather than later.

Alligators in the Arctic Ocean?

'Emmisions' in the subtitles at 3:40 is a mis-spelling.

Update:

That's "whataboutism" - and it is moot. We are not going to have an ice age. You see - the sun is unexpectedly (slightly) weaker at the moment - and we are still warming. Rapidly.

If we escape run away warming - with the unknowns coming from melting tundra, melting methane ice on the Arctic floor, carbon dioxide being released from the warming ocean (after having been being absorbed so far) - and several other major feedback amplifiers - then we will be incredibly lucky.

Are you okay with 50% poorer crop production? How about millions of deaths, and 100's of millions of displaced people? What happens when the 6 rivers fed by Himalayan glaciers diminish? This only affects about HALF the world's people ...

The same thing can be said about warming.
It works equally both ways.

I'm good I will have my own food supply with in a few years.
50% crop failure is nothing. This past year Australia lost up to 70% of their wheat crop.
I'm looking forward to being able to sell a potato for $50.

Unless the government goes straight for replacement of coal and natural gas power plants with nuclear then there is nothing they can do to make any kind of real effect on the amount of CO2 the United States produces.

Then there is china. In 10 to 15 years they will likely be producing 3x the CO2 the United States was producing at our peak.

If hundreds of millions of people are displaced we better get that wall built and build it so high they can't "climate".
