Russia discovered 5 more islands in High Arctic Russian Archipelago's because Arctic ices have melted due to excess AGW heat.
https://www.theguardian.com/environm...-in-the-arctic

Similar activities have occurred in the High Arctic Canadian archipelago early this year & some years ago, unknown islands were uncovered in Greenland. In July, southern heat targeted Greenland & disappeared 197 billion tons of ice. News sources like to say that ice loss was the equivalent of 80 million Olympic swimming pools. A better visualization is a melted ice cube that was 5 miles long by 5 miles wide by 26,000+ feet high.

"the only way to prevent climate catastrophe is “degrowth” now, not in 2050: stop most flying, meat-eating and clothes-buying until we have green alternatives, ban privately owned cars and abandon sprawling suburbs. A long economic depression might be enough to keep the planet habitable. We’d also need to divert money from consumption to building green infrastructure. This is essentially Greta Thunberg’s argument.

But that would put us in a new world. Economic growth, democracy and CO2 have always been intertwined. Growth and democracy barely existed until coal fuelled the industrial revolution. Can democracy survive without carbon?

We are not going to find out. No electorate will vote to decimate its own lifestyle. We can’t blame bad politicians or corporates. It’s us: we will always choose growth over climate."

AGW denier business CEO propagandists are so scared their billions & trillions of dollars of excess wealth may dwindle, that was gained by AGW violations, sucking off technology, & suppression of wages to the real wealth builders of their companies (scientists, technicians, secretaries, blue-collars, min. wage earners, etc.), they trundle out easily manipulated voice-boxes onto the internet to spread their indoctrinations.

Good. When all the ices melts we get a whole new land mass full of untapped resources.

You're behind schedule. Miners have poured into Greenland for years, to loot the land of newly accessible jewels. Canada, same. Of course, pollution builds, apace. It took 20+ years of AGW denier propaganda, but AGW deniers arrogantly agree that they are Earth rapers.
oil can 4 needs to move north to get its share. But, he'll have to dodge the perma-frost methane explosions. Already, off-shore concentrations of methane have been discovered, as high as 16 parts per million.

Methane requires a concentration of 50,000 ppm to explode, minimum. 16 is a long way off from that.
