No for me. Show up with my scan tool, confirm reason for CEL, maybe buy, maybe clean CAT before buying a replace. $720 for a car with maybe 100,000 or 200,000 miles still in it! If true, great beater deal.

I am sure that many people would claim that driving my Civic to the junkyard, buying the Corolla, and acid-dipping, and then possibly replacing the cat would be the smart move, but I do not see any reason to drive this instead of my Accord.

Hopefully someone else puts it to good use.

Manual 1999 Civic HX with 185,000 miles in South Phoenix for $1,600

There are not any pictures. I plan on driving my family down on Thursday. I guess that I could park it at my sister's house for a week or two until I can drive a rental back. Do we have an HX buying thread?

Well, I guess! That generation has cruise control, right? I focus on 1996 - 2000 because I can swap parts with Chorizo and I already know them fairly well, but the 2003 looks like a better deal than the 1999.

I'd offer $1300 or $1400 and see what he says. My Insight was listed at $2300 and I got it for $1500. Civic was $3900 (reduced from $4500), and I got it for $2900 out the door.
