Non-running Saturn for $250 an hour away.

Do you think it still has the catalytic converter? Are the wheels and tires worth $500?

Happy Arizona Statehood Day!

Good thing it has those ventilation holes! That giant slot would be wholly inadequate!

I looked on DDG, my Metro XFi apparently has at least one catalytic converter. First car I've owned that has one. First Chevrolet too.

Let's be honest if somebody really wants something its never really "locked" or "protected."
Reminds me of when i see people put locks on the hitch of their boat trailer and their hitch is just bolted on. It would take a couple more minutes to bolt on a new hitch and go lol
Also, insert "lock picking lawyer" youtube channel

Yes, but they aren't just making it harder to get their cat, their are making harder than to steal than their neighbor's.

Maybe some thieves see something like this and say "Challenge accepted!"

I am pretty sure they are looking for the easiest theft, not the most satisfying one.

People are sleeping through Sawzalls?

I feel like I would wake up to the sound of someone trying to use a Fisher-Price plastic toy saw!

07 Civic $1k

Honestly, I'm not shopping...

$1k asking price for 368k kms = 229k mi

Wonder what's up with the AC - it seems to be a common busted item on this generation of Civic.

Quote:
Description

Runs great. Manual transmission. Being sold AS IS with winter tires only (on the car). Passenger side front window, AC and CD player do not work, dent on driver side rear bumper. $1000 or best offer.
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/...-is/1551035321

Hondarust included! (I've actually seen a couple of this generation of Civic with the rear rockers completely blown open with rust.)

I have a soft spot for this gen Civic. It's the same year & trim that I had - and that car was the most "grown-up/normal" car I've ever owned.

But honestly, I'm not shopping (though I still haven't cancelled my email alert). Just posting this for entertainment value. As I said before, cheap Mirages mean no more winter beater roulette for me.

All in the family at last. My brother bought his Suzuki Samurai in 1984 and has driven it since (When he's not in his wife's Ford Escape). His is a four-cylinder though, IIRC.
