Rear seat felt rather large to me but I'm only 5'6". Felt like a good 6 inches above my head.

As for claustrophobia, far more space than my 63 MG midget. Rear seat area could fit 2 medium sized cadavers easy.

That helps a bit. So still a year away. I see the reservations have broken 7k. They do need to post one more reservation category. The "I'll buy one when I see it roll off the line" reservation.

Two weeks after they roll them out you're gonna see somebody on here averaging 140 mpg in theirs, with pics of the back seat removed, duct taped fender covers, full skirting and a boat tail half the length of a football field

Yes exactly! Great as it is but it also can be a prepped canvas. How about a single cylinder diesel or stuff a nice blown Triumph Trophy triple.
Forget the transportation part of this unique canvas. $7k for a rolling advertisement that you can also drive to work is cheap.

I've already asked if they're going to offer a TDI version, just waiting on their reply before I get on the waiting list.
I also asked if they could customize mine to have the door on the curbside

I was told they have been working on the diesel version with estimated 200+ mpg. I'd be happy seeing the production engine in the prototype.
